The Research and Development Office of National Formosa University is responsible for promoting academic research and industry-academia research affairs. The Research and Development Office includes Office of Dean, three divisions (Academic Development Division, Internship Division and Planning Division), and three research centers (Micro-Nano Technology Lab, Central Taiwan Dream Maker Base and Analytical Service of Agriculture and Biotechnology Product).

The Research and Development Office is the main administrative unit for the school to promote academic research and industry-university research and development, and is responsible for the application and management of large projects for National Formosa University.
